The Center for Music Technology is committed to excellence, diversity, and equality. It is in that spirit that our first student organization emerged in spring 2016: Women in Music Technology. In the school year 2015-2016, 19% of the graduate students were women, and in the fall 2016 semester, 16% were women. Women in Music Technology’s vision is to bring more women into the program.

Recruitment and promotion of women’s work are therefore at the core of our mission. To get a more balanced set of applications, we are taking an active part in all the channels of recruitment and promotion of the program. We organize concerts, networking events, high school outreach activities and communication actions.
